FlyTrap

This game of intense focus requires all of the attention you can muster, as you assume control of an innocent cyber-bird, spawned in a wretched A.I. dystopian future.

Fly, and avoid the Traps.

• compete for dominance across 3 major platforms on the global leaderboard  
• fully navigate and play with your favorite (windows compatible) gamepad, or the keyboard 
• enhance your experience with a good set of headphones to immerse yourself in the soundscape

Hint: collecting all of the orbs in a cluster gives you a decent bonus 🥇

Author's Note:

Why make this game? My Google Play account had been inactive for so long that Google warned me they would close it if I didn't publish something soon. The final warning came with a 30 day deadline. I took that as an opportunity to do two things in one: learn the Godot engine, and crank out a quick game. The TLDR is I got it done 3 days before the deadline.

The initial version didn't have a leaderboard. I couldn't squeeze it in with the time I had. The next update had it though, and the one after that had the cluster scoring mechanic. It feels great when you get one of those bonuses. At some point I released it on iOS as well, since I hadn't released anything there in a long time either.
